About

After graduating from Rice University with a computer science degree, I worked as an IT consultant for 6 1/2 years and eventually abandoned the glamorous world of first class travel and per diems to develop software for an Internet start-up company in New York City. In early 2006, I moved back to Texas and landed at a large energy firm in downtown Houston. Nearly two years later, I decided to take a break from corporate life and devote a year to... me.

This is my scrapbook, dream journal, occasional soapbox, and repository of (hopefully) useful information. All blog timestamps are in CST because Daylight Saving Time is an abomination. Comments are moderated to keep the site free of spam.
