Would love to play around with Movable Type to drive the web logs, but alas, I don’t have access to mySQL. My log date formatting is now driven by Perl. Gotta come up with a better way to do all this. Makes for a good exercise… Less than three weeks until draft day!

When sending an HTTP POST request with data, you must insert two newlines between the Content-Length header and the actual data. Otherwise you end up with a vague error about a missing colon in the header field. Took me forever to figure this out…
