Finally caught the Super Bowl halftime show (and the infamous breast shot) on tape last night… *yawn*

Maybe it’s a reflection of my schooling, but I can’t help being irked when I read a headline like “Airlines slip on oil prices, terror fears” which to me says “fear fears.” Guess I can thank monkey-prez for perpetually confusing terror (extreme fear) with terrorism (use of violence to coerce/intimidate).

N.Y. has new tax surprise on sales. Similar story appears in today’s Daily News…

The state has done practically nothing to publicize the move. But there, on line 56 of the New York state tax form, is an entry for taxes on out-of-state goods.
