Completed a transfer of domain registrar today, which I have been intending to do for over a year. Network Solutions domain registration is way overpriced, and I get private registration at no additional charge with 1&1. The transfer took only four days, which is very fast, but it also had the unfortunate side effect of making the web site unavailable and rerouting all email to my domain for several hours. I was able to configure an email catch-all through the 1&1 control panel in the interim. Everything seems to be back to normal now.
